But anyhow, I´ve never noticed that music/sound activities would be for men only..., many times I don´t understand the problem.
I think the problem is not mainly about music, it´s about something else, about how the society works.

Tack för att vi är omnämnda!
Självklart är det så att ojämställdheten inte beror på musiken i sig utan på samhällets uppbyggnad. Det är lätt att se hur könsfördelningen ser ut inom musikbranschen, men svårare att förändra. Jämställdhetsarbete tar tid och det tar tid att förändra traditioner, attityder och invanda arbetssätt. Jag tror få personer gör saker på jävelskap, utan det handlar nog mer om att man gör som man varit van och glömmer bort att tänka efter och reflektera.
Vår önskan är uppnå en jämnare könsfördelning inom musikbranschen. Inte genom att tänka att det är synd om tjejer och att därför ska man göra insatser, utan istället att det blir roligare och bättre för alla med en jämnare könsfördelning! Ett gemensamt jämställdhetsarbete således.

Some people may believe that any comments may not reach this blogger..., yes they do, more often by mail. But I´m a little bit disappointed of the total silence by people I´ve known for many years, more in the neighbourhood. Mainly my communication through these blogs reaches people far away - and I´m happy for that, the opportunity.
....and as they say, "youré never the prophet in your hometown", and that could be other things than music, environment perspectives, philosophical aspects, many other things. But in the case of music, there are parts in the world where women are forbidden to do any musical studies (as well as other studies outside serving men and the family under strict rules) Even if the freedom is great and understanding of equality between sexes is developed f x in Sweden, work and identitydeveloping goes on, something I understand about this, and I´m happy being part of the process. In my way I suppose.
