Yazoo Records has been founded in New York in 1967 by Nick Perls (†) (Sister label: Blue Goose Records). In 1987 the label has been bought by Shanachie Records, who keep the spirit alive by issueing a great part of the Yazoo catalogue on CD.
Not only guitarist mentioned, A N D, of course there where players before the recording industry.
A N D guitar culture was not basically born in the U.S.A.
- but the hot pot for for Jazz&Blues with strings of steel
